About Us
Social Transformation & Development
Our Heritage
Established in 1989 in the village of Anasara, Orissa, Young India is the brain-child of National Youth Awardees and Indira Gandhi NSS Awardees committed to the cause of social transformation.
We emerged as a truly civil society forum that believes in the people’s process in every action—a paradigm shift from mere participation to full ownership.
